Frequently Asked Questions
Weather
- I want to schedule an Exterior Service treatment but am not sure about the weather. Does rain wash the chemicals off?
- No, Suspend S.C. has been extensively tested under numerous harsh and rainy conditions and has been proven to withstand longer than any other brand available to licensed technicians. Microencapsulation is the key to residual longevity (lasting protection).
- Can you spray even with rain coming the same day?
- Yes, the key is drying time! We stop spraying approximately four hours ahead to give it drying time. Once it is dry, it is effective for you. We are confident that even if it pours that night, it will continue to repel and protect. We guarantee it!
- I would rather you not spray until there is no rain in sight. Is that OK?
- Yes, certainly. We will note that in our records and schedule accordingly.
- The weather up here is unpredictable. What if you get caught in the rain while spraying?
- That’s not a problem. We will re–spray your home at no extra charge under our guarantee!
- We had an unusually rainy spring and I noticed the spiders seemed to come back sooner than in dryer years. Did the rain affect the solution?
- It is possible for excessive rain to slowly diminish the protection. That is why we have a guarantee! Call if need be, no problem. All solutions slowly diminish in time.
- How windy is too windy to spray?
- A "too windy" period for us is 20 m.p.h. steady or gusting up to 30 m.p.h. However, depending on where you are located, 10 to 15 m.p.h. might be too windy. The real problem with wind is drift. Drift is how far the spray floats in the wind. The problem with drift is two–fold, safety being our primary concern! First, we do not want to risk having a bystander have solution blown on them! I train all my technicians to be extra cautious. Although no immediate or serious harm will occur, the solution should be washed off right away. We have zero tolerance for carelessness. Secondly, on the lighter side, we really don’t want to spray your neighbors home for free. That would not be a wise business venture. Although they might be happy with less bugs!
- What is your policy when you are weather delayed?
- If we are forced to reschedule due to the weather, you can count on service the next available weather appropriate workday. We avoid servicing on weekends unless absolutely necessary because there would be a slightly higher charge for weekend work. We will not skip you unless you reschedule for a specific date or time, at your convenience. As always, we are within E.P.A. guidelines in all of our decisions.
